Everyone knows that giant radioactive monsters and adorable little hamsters go together like chocolate and peanut butter, and so Godzilla and Hamtaro are celebrating their strange collaboration with a pair of double-feature film screenings that celebration the 20th anniversaries of two incredibly similar films: Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack and Adventures in Ham-Ham Land.

The films will be screened on December 11, 2021 at the Shin-Bungeiza venue in Tokyo and on December 19, 2021 at the Kyoto Minami-Kaikan venue in Kyoto. Audience members will receive one of three (randomly determined) new “Godzihamkun” figurines and a postcard featuring artwork by Hamtaro author Ritsuko Kawai as bonus gifts.
The Tokyo screening will also feature guest appearances by director Shusuke Kaneko and producer Nobumasa Sawabe, while the Kyoto screening will feature a video recording of their Tokyo guest appearance.
